Back in Germany, Maurice started out in the social and healthcare field before discovering his passion for design. He went on to complete his three year training as a media & graphic designer. After that, he worked for two years at a studio that focused on interior photography and design.

Later, Maurice took on a leadership role at a media design and print company, where he specialised in post production, large-format printing, digital printing and exhibition constructions. In 2014, he and his wife set off to travel the world for a year and eventually decided to make New Zealand their new home.

In February 2017, Maurice joined the team at Live Creative.
